Olivia: Alessi Fiato Sul Collo Necklace

Ever since I popped into the Alessi store a couple of weeks ago, I've been infatuated with Mario Trimarchi's collar necklace. In Sicily, where Trimarchi grew up, a sirocco (warm Mediterranean wind) would occasionally blow through. According to local lore this wind was dangerous, so the neighbors would gather into a windowless room to smoke and play rounds of cards until it was over. When the door to the room was opened, the sirocco would rush in and cause the cards to scatter about, the effect of which Trimarchi captured in the stainless-steel Fiato Sul Collo.
