Wooden Business Card Case

A business card lost in the abyss of a deep purse or creased and forgotten in a back pocket isn't much good to anyone. Make sure your pertinent information is at the ready—and make a very good first impression—with this handcrafted wooden business card case from Japanese designer Masakage Tanno.

$82 is pretty outrageous for a business card holder

If it's handmade and made well, the price seems fair to me. Can't be sure from the photos. It is up to the buyer if they want to pay for it...

Some would say $700 for an Eames LCW is outrageous too... Those people should shop at Ikea.

And the problem with shopping at Ikea is ???????

Well, you can get a mass produced stainless steel card case for 50 bucks or you can buy a boring case from Coach for that same price, so $82 for a handcrafted wooden case isn't even remotely out of the question.

The problem with shopping in Ikea is that the products they offer and cheap, cheaply made, will not last long, and will be thrown into a dump.

I love it but alas it is too costly. Thus I shall keep a few cards well contained in my wallet. I hope they do not show up the $2 I keep there for emergency's. Like an Ames Sale.

Someone is still using business cards today? Don't let be confuse, I like it, I am working wood and like it much. But, seems to me this is a little bit old fashion even if the design is very actual. Anyway, this product is targetted at those having 82$ to spend on a business card holder and still using a business card holder. No need to sell one to everyone on the planet to become rich and famous. For the rest of us, there is Ikea. ;-)

I do custom woodwork as a side business....I should try and make my own, it looks like a fairly simple design. It will be a lot cheaper too.
