I like this concept. Reminds me of the shaky grounds in Dylan's native san francisco - a "post earthquake" console.

I can't believe the price - 5 cubes, one of which is "tilted" - $2,500!!!!? - That's $500.00/cube - Ikea.... $50.00 a cube and they'll all be straight!

Clarke, what a ridiculous comment - you sound like a crusty old codger sitting on a front porch chewing a wad of tobacco. Have you heard of the economy of scale? It's a large part of why products at Ikea (and other volume manufacturers) sell so cheaply - they produce things by the thousands. Would you prefer to have every object in the world made that way, just so you could afford them all? Or wait - maybe independent designer/makers could charge only for the cost of materials and donate the rest of their design and fabrication time for free - then maybe you could afford their work. Or maybe they should just stop making work, because it's all too expensive for you.

Love it! But can't afford it! Isn't a shame that artsy people who "haven't made it yet" can never afford lovely items such as this. Guess I agree with all comments.

I like it.

I like the look. I agree that independent designers should be fairly compensated for their talent. However, it is sad there seems to be very little middle ground.
