HAY Solid Oak Butler Step Stool

For starters, this handsome solid natural oak stool will come in handy when you’re arranging your cashmere sweaters on the top shelf of your closet. But the larger lower step also allows you to use it as a side table, bedside bench or stool. (It’s also a nice place to park your plants.) Made by HAY, a manufacturer in MoMA’s collection. 

This step stool was designed by Shane Schneck, an award-winning American designer based in Stockholm. His philosophy is to create simple yet innovative designs that challenge industry standards. His pieces often contain an element of surprise in their color, form or use of materials.
