Modern living room with purple sofa and artwork

In a New York City apartment overlooking the High Line, the focal point of the living room is a deep purple Misfits sofa designed by Ron Arad for Moroso. It's joined by a pair of white Nanook tables by Philippe Bestenheider and Fjord tables by Patricia Urquiola covered in antique kimono fabric, also for Moroso.

Texas bunkhouse facade.

The exterior cladding of this Texas bunkhouse is cedar, stained in four different colors then placed randomly “for a different palette of colors, like a blend of bricks,” says Texas-based architect, Henry Panton. “The owner’s favorite color is purple, so we added a purple board here and there.” Photo by Greg Hursley.
