Nicholas Calcott was born in 1983 in Midland, MI. He received his BFA from NYU in 2005. He lives and works between New York City and Paris. Calcott combines editorial and fine art photography to explore the themes of place and history. His work is notable for its visual fluency and references to to technology and biology, and particularly their echoes in contemporary cityscapes.
