John Entenza

John Entenza (1903–1984) was to modernism what Anna Wintour is to fashion. Editor of Arts & Architecture magazine from 1940 until 1962, he was the first to publish and popularize the works of now-legendary designers such as Harry Bertoia, the Eameses, Craig Ellwood, and George Nakashima. He’s best known for launching the Case Study House program in 1945.
