Amanda Prior is a photographer who lives and works in Sydney, Australia. For the July/August 2009 issue, she traveled two hours north of her hometown to photograph the Avoca Beach House. While shooting the cleverly designed living-kitchen-dining area, Prior noticed a black-and-white photograph of the original beach shack and its owner: the current resident's mother.
