Sausalito-based ceramics company Heath together with type foundry House Industries recently released these eye-catching address plates, emblazoned with fonts designed by Richard Neutra and Charles and Ray Eames.
Whether you're an avid crafter or font enthusiast, looking for some nifty little decorations to spice up your home or just love thumbing through a quality grab bag of paper goodies, Janet Morales and Stu Eli have put together a pack just for you. Each is unique, featuring numbers, tickets, labels, stamps, stencils, maps, and more. When you're done pining for paper, treat yourself to a virtual browse through their online shop, Three Potato Four, featuring mostly vintage and some new pieces for your tabletop, kid's room, office, and kitchen.
This exhibition features a selection of travel sketches, figure drawings and building renderings by one of modernism’s most important architects, Richard Neutra (1892-1970). The pieces range from early pencil sketches from Neutra’s student wanderings in 1913 to later pastel renderings of his Los Angeles houses from the 1950s. The collection will be accompanied by a free audio tour featuring such voices as Ray Kappe, Kelly Lynch, Sarah Lorenzen, Leo Marmol, Dion Neutra, and Victoria Steele. The audio tour will be available in the gallery via cell phone or by download to an mp3 player.
