We briefly spotted these big, brilliant pendants in a showroom in Milan and, like a poignant Craigslist missed connection, have been pining for them ever since. Then a serendipituous web search brought them back to us! They're made by French company Jieldé, whose Signal lamps are a mid-century industrial standard, and we've spent the afternoon daydreaming about which of the 18 colors offered we like best.

Jean-Louis Domecq designed the originals over 50 years ago in France, and their industrial appeal is complemented by the range of bright colors offered. The Future Perfect in Brooklyn sells them, along with a floor model in different colors. $449.00
