Dwell on Design NY's keynote speakers, architecture critic Paul Goldberger and architect Eric Owen Moss, began their discussion with the origins of modern architecture but ended with a deeper subject: how can you be an architectural insider and outsider?
Designer Grethe Meyer is considered a master of Danish design. One of Denmark’s most distinguished industrial designers, Meyer was also an architect and was known for her work for Royal Copenhagen and Georg Jensen, among others. In 2004, contemporary design brand Menu launched the GM 15 and GM 30 Pendant Lights, exact reproductions of Meyer’s 1984 sketches. The lights were previously never made, and now represent a modern lighting icon. These lights are on sale at the Dwell Store for a limited time.
