Advertising Sales Intern (New York)

The New York Advertising Sales office seeks a resourceful self-starter to be our right-hand in managing daily office operations. This person will be exposed to all aspects of the advertising sales department at Dwell.

The ideal candidate will utilize a common sense approach and acute multi-tasking skills to effortlessly prioritize and organize. Additionally, the ideal candidate will manage the salespeople’s travel itineraries, assist in preparing proposals, and keep cool in a deadline oriented work environment. Excel and Word are a must. An assertive professional who exudes confidence, charisma, and savvy know-how will excel in this position. Office experience desirable.

Commitment:
4 months, 3 days a week

Job Responsibilities:
· administering the front office
· answering telephones with impeccable office etiquette and demeanor
· greeting potential advertisers and current clients
· keeping the office organized and running smoothly
· creating and sending out media kits and issues
· organizing magazine events for product launches and issue releases
· taking on ad-hoc projects as directed

Compensation:
Small monthly stipend and travel expenses
