William Massie's factory was itself a spatial influence on the 08 project. The two main doors to the warehouse had originally been designed to allow a standard trailer to back inside. Thus, no section of the house could be wider than the trailer (12 feet). Although each section was designed with these dimensions in mind, getting them out proved tricky.
