Every piece in the room was carefully selected by Signora Missoni. These include the Alexander Taylor's Butterfly Table by Zanotta (which also appears in the Edinburgh hotel), Marc Sadler Twiggy lamp, and Hans J. Wegner's Wishbone chairs, which Rosita has in her own home(s). She feels that if they are comfortable enough for her own friends and family, the guests at the hotel should get to enjoy them as well. The hotel's on-site restaurant, Cucina, is full of personal Missoni touches, from the teacups to the cuisine. Missoni Home china was created exclusively for the hotel, debuting there first before becoming available in Missoni shops. Also, Rosita Missoni dipped into her own recipe box for the restaurant, working with London restaurateur (and fellow Lombardian) Giorgio Locatelli to put twenty family favorites on the Cucina menu.
