Lancaster, Pennsylvania is best known for the Amish aka "The Plain People." However, one lesser known fact is that it is also home to Beefcake and his drinkin' buddies, work release pals, and a host of other people that call these projects work until their licenses get restored. The City is comprised of mainly brick row homes priced below $100K and mostly over 100yrs old. Keeping with the "Plain" ethic of the Amish and the destructive tendencies of the guys doing the work, we tried to remove all the years of band-aid repairs and open these shells up to what the original builders might have considered "almost done." The simplicity of the original design is what we try to showcase, and much like the plain people, keeping things simple and base is really one of the best ways one can appreciate what is often overlooked.
