Serious Makeover
City: Eugene
State: Oregon
Degree of Difficulty: 4
Landlord Approval: No

This is an extensive kitchen remodel that I designed and built myself (except for the cabinets, which were done by a friend). The floor is cork, the cabinets are sapele and the countertops are Caesarstone and stainless. Designed around prep and cleanup nodes with symetrical custom sinks—a serious makeover.

the two faucets look different because they are. It fooled me as well for a moment until I realized there are two different sinks on either end of the kitchen...

What a kitchen! How much did the renovation cost you?

I've been researching kitchens for a new construction I'm designing. I cannot understand having the sink or cooktop in the island. I think everything in a continuous flow or U-shaped countertop works much better.

I especially like the curved island. What innovation!

Stunning. Love how you opened the space to the dining room, as well!
