Embarking on a journey to craft the interiors for a prominent business family in Bangalore was a thrilling and challenging feat for Soni Vipul Designs, given the family's shared values of intergenerational bonding and mutual reverence. The main aim was to curate a contemporary interior that not only flaunted visually stunning aesthetics but also emanated a warm and hospitable ambiance, imbuing a sense of unity that resonated with the family's values. Incorporating the principles of Vastu Shastra, which held immense importance for the family, formed the very foundation of the design, ensuring that every aspect carried a purposeful and alluring psychological aura.
This magnificent two-story manor, spanning an impressive 14,000 square feet, is bedecked with a captivating sculpture of a canine, adorned with sleek shades and a trendy chain at its entrance. A commodious living space within is designed to cater to the needs of up to 30-35 individuals with utmost indulgence and comfort. The pursuit of spacious and well-illuminated interiors has always been a central tenet of the design philosophy embraced by the talented designers at Soni Vipul Design.

The tea zone, replete with opulent Statuario marble has been skilfully crafted to impart an air of ease, tailor-made for the elderly to peruse the daily news. With scrupulous attention to detail, an adroitly carved sculpture hewn from the precious wood of a sandalwood tree has been artfully positioned beside a treasured family photograph, harmoniously melding organic and personal components to produce an aesthetically captivating exhibit. A puja area, infused with wooden elements and carvings, exudes a definitive South Indian flair. Yet another attribute that emanates the distinctive essence of South India could be identified in the form of chairs with limb-like appendages embellished with bangles and anklets reminiscent of the captivating movements of a Kuchipudi dancer, thoughtfully placed adjacent to the Kuthuvilakku.

The two kitchens are a study in contrasts, with one being exceptionally functional and robust, while the other showcases a glamorous and modern aesthetic with high-end appliances that come to the fore when entertaining guests. The library, reflecting the family's passion for reading, houses a dedicated study zone for the children. Hanging Pandora and touches of champagne gold in the Avatar-inspired home theater room, make for an unforgettable viewing experience. Additionally, a fully-equipped spa and salon offer a luxurious escape for the family to indulge in pampering treatments and relaxation.

The abode is embellished with modern bespoke furniture, cutting-edge light fixtures, and carefully curated art pieces, thoughtfully chosen to elevate every facet of the interior space. The fitness area is similarly curated with state-of-the-art equipment and a yoga-conducive arrangement, leaving no element disregarded. The bar area on the first floor, which features blue elements that emphasize the tropical theme, is a fun and whimsical addition. The personal office has been designed to cater to the needs of the elderly, while the three bedrooms reflect the style and elegance of the ladies of the household.

The chromatic scheme employed in the design is centered around neutral tones, with an extensive use of pristine white to evoke a sense of peace that resonates with the client's familial ethos. Moreover, the infusion of pearl white hues imbues a sense of affluence and elevated social standing, which is quintessential to the client's identity. The utilization of Onyx marble with its sophisticated and refined finish not only exudes timeless elegance but also underscores the classic design elements instilled in the project. Additionally, to cater to the aesthetic sensibilities of the elder generation, wood carvings, and metallic accents finished in light champagne silver and gold have been thoughtfully incorporated. The design also accounts for the preferences of the middle generation, who favour tans and browns, while the women in the family gravitate towards peach tones.

Each facet of this magnificent dwelling exudes a breathtaking charm that guarantees an enthralling living experience, with an abundance of captivating details that will inevitably capture and hold the gaze of any beholder, ensuring that monotony remains a distant memory within its walls.
