The views of nature and the sea were the anchor points of the design, adapting to the natural terrain that runs down the ravine. The architecture highlights this medium slope, ending in a small forest of native Chilean vegetation.
This project commissioned by the Loiza Palacios family is the design of their definitive home to live in Pichilemu and leave behind the busy capital of Chile, Santiago.

With rooms for parents, children, grandchildren, and for visitors, as well as large common spaces to share meals and family events. Interior areas are contemplated, delimited by the furniture in wood and granite, and which join the exterior terrace with balconies over the ravine.

The private spaces of the bedrooms and bathrooms configure the access and the gardens, achieving terraces in all the rooms, with eucalyptus screens to control lighting, thermal comfort, and framing the views.
A loft-type space is defined on level -1 that allows an independent private space for visitors.

The roof configures skylights for natural lighting and thermal control throughout the house.

The wood of the structure was worked with dark brown colors, the interior linings with white lead color and the exterior linings with colorless impregnants to highlight the pale brown of the wood and its grain. A large reticulated wooden beam manufactured on site, which allows covering 9 meters of span without supports, provides breadth and height to the public space. A reinforced concrete retaining wall, which is also the main foundation of the house, allows the ground to be reinforced and the foundation of the house to be structured.

The natural environment and architecture are perfectly combined, where without a doubt, the view of nature and the sea will provide comfort, warmth and tranquility so desired by the family.
