The color palette of the living room was inspired by local artist, Paula Frizbe's, painting hanging prominently above the sofa. Mallory kept the original fireplace and built-in shelves which are a large focal piece in this room.

Painting by local artist, Paula Frizbe. Mallory fell in love with this artist because of the way she captures light in her paintings and how it seems to change depending on the daylight it's reflecting. Gantri table lamp.
Dinnertime made cozy in this dining area. One of a kind dhurrie rug found while Mallory was traveling in India, paired with vintage Moroccan cactus silk pillows and linen table cloth.

The Apple House is located in the charming neighborhood of Hillsboro West-End- a historic Nashville district. Interior Designer, Mallory Apple, bought this house and relocated to Nashville (after a few years abroad in Australia) during the height of the pandemic. With the desire to put down roots for her new family, she set out to update this 100 year old home. The home has beautiful bones, but was in need of bathroom and kitchen updates. Once complete, those updates were enhanced by Mallory Apple's final decorating and styling of the home. The hard materials and furnishings she selected work together to create a sophisticated yet comfortable home.
