The façade of this east facing private dwelling is commanded by hues of black and white, which was the idea behind the main color scheme of this project.

The characteristic elevation is made up of variations of the 'oblong' shape, which not only runs throughout the exteriors, but a lot of internal elements are influenced by it as well.

This toilet adjoining the master bedroom on the first floor is enfolded with white marble, same as the main flooring of the house, which is polarized by the wardrobes finished in black lacquered glass. While the rest of the details are kept clean, antique brass metal accents bring out the tranquility of the white interiors along with the depth of the darker components.

The glass windows to the right define the beguiling facade of the house, while the glass partitions to the left mirrors them creating symmetry and consonance.

Overlooking the national highway, Residence 100 is located on a corner plot in an opulent neighborhood of the calm and serene city of Panchkula. The residence is designed to accommodate a family of five and their main requirement was to have a contemporary façade which stands out from the rest of the houses in the vicinity. The elevation of this east facing private dwelling is commanded by hues of black and white. All white flooring throughout the residence provides a clean palette for different internal elements to project on, be it the glass & metal partitions, the lighting fixtures or the furniture modules. The central space of the house features a glass embedded skylight which catches the daylight to keep the whole house illuminated, and also adds a unique aesthetic dimension to the space. The monochromatic tones and the curvilinear form of the elevation make it stand out amidst its foliage filled surroundings. The house is a fine example of contemporary architecture with elements of post-modernism reflected in its primary form and semblance.
