Mid century tract home renovated in the midst of covid. Originally a 2 bedroom/1 bath, converted into a 3 bedroom + 1 office/2 bath, and rear yard landscaping in progress.
This project was started at the onset of Covid. Being home 24-7 working virtually from a kitchen office and our daughter starting college remotely from her room, we were very cramped in a < 1000sq ft home originally built in the 1950s. We had begun the design process well before the pandemic, but decided to move forward in spite of lockdowns, which had it's own challenges with lead times, supply chain, and general working conditions for contractors.
After 1 year of construction, we're settling back in the house and elated with our decision to build in the most uncertain of times.
