Stylehaus Design, a Miami-based full-service interior design firm, reimagined a 2,000 square foot Miami Beach condo with the goal of creating an elegant yet functional open space that caters to a small family who enjoys entertaining.

To enhance the personalization and warmth, Tatiana Moreira, lead designer and founder of Stylehaus Design, started by knocking down the kitchen walls to directly integrate the dining and living room areas to embrace natural light. To further allow the light to travel throughout the unit, she opted for the use of soffits instead of walls in order to delineate the areas. The panorama of direct ocean views throughout the main living spaces is emphasized by custom full bronzed mirrored wall and columns.

To create a statement, the designer applied white oak wood paneling on the foyer and living room walls, concealing the doors as well as coordinating with the wood used to maintain a cohesive color palette and design concept. Stylehaus utilized natural stones and modern furniture mixed with a traditional wood paneling and flooring to enhance the space with a more classic look.

Geometry takes precedence in the kitchen and adjoining dining area shaped by glass wrap arounds with oak and gold lacquer cabinetry designed by Brazilian design company ORNARE. The two-toned neutral cabinetry adapted from ORNARE’s Wide Line Collection was customized to pair with the “Gris du Marais” marble countertops and waterfall island. Ocean hued accents provide a stark but warm, graceful canvas for minimalist furnishings. Moreover, the designer brought in porcelain tile that mimics the natural look of wood and that is easy to clean and maintain which addresses the client’s lifestyle.

A few notable furnishings and brands seen in the residence include Holly Hunt, ORNARE, Minotti, Luminaire, DWR, Hermes, and Anima Domus.
