Mesa House sits on 20 acres of private land bordering the national monument
The remodel added two sets of sliding glass doors and full height windows to take advantage of big views of the mesa.
The owners' extensive collection of books, vinyl records and maps are available for all guests to use.

In every season, the outdoor bathtub is the owner's part of Mesa House.
The office closes off from the rest of the house with a ceiling-hung curtain, and the couch converts to a double bed for extra guests.

A modern desert sanctuary on 20 private acres bordering Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument in the most remote town in the Lower 48. A private swimming pond, stream, wetland, and the national monument itself are a short walk from the home, which is two miles from Boulder Town. Completely remodeled in 2018, the home connects to big views of an undulating slickrock mesa through floor to ceiling windows. A large outdoor deck with dining, BBQ and outdoor bathtub overlooks the vast desert landscape.
