Thomas Sanders bought a ruin in a tiny schist village named Tarrastal in Central Portugal. He hired Hans, a young German born, Portuguese raised, eager young builder. They created a mini master piece. Karl Moar visited from the Shetlands of Scotland and fell in love with the land; from the earths tectonic force creating mica mineral into Schist to the clean air and water, the mountains in the region are still promising. Karl bought a ruin in this same schist village. This ruble was on its way to be a home built with creativity, friendship and a lot of leaps into the unknowbn. We think it was worth every long thought and long hour of labor.
