Project for a new private house east of Bassano del Grappa.
The building is composed of two main volumes characterized by well-defined functions. The union of these two bodies form a "T", where the "leg" in the letter (north-south direction), there is the sleeping area, which separates the orthogonal portion (east-ovet) in two, with the living area of the house on one side (west) and on the other the technical rooms and the garage (east).
Access to the house is from the road to the north. Once you cross the gate, the building appears as a compact, opaque volume, almost protecting the privacy of the large south garden. The view is characterized by the large dark pitch that overlooks the single floor above ground protected by a long concrete canopy that is supported on a partition perpendicular to the facade that separates the maneuvering area of the garage from the pedestrian area.
Once you cross the threshold, the entrance projects the visitor into the living area, partly at double height, and the view is captured by the large corner window that frames the garden.
