House 1.2.3. Capelo

Single family house with capacity of four people, developed on two levels, sited in an isolated way in a corner area, which allows to link interior’s view directly with the green area and the landscapes on the north and east side of the lot.
The scheme of the project is simple. It is composed of two volumes, one of higher hierarchy cov-ering a double-height space and links the social areas of the ground floor with the family room located in the second floor.
Some materials used for the decoration are recycled like the wood obtained from pallets covering walls and false sky, profiles i.p.n. for the stairs.
This house has been able to introduce natural light into the inside by creating large open spaces and skylights that not only allow the solar rays to enter but also create beautiful shadows inside. In the same way the exterior the volumetric composition and the details of pergola’s also create an interesting shadow play.
