Summary: The original home was built in 1953 by 2 doctors. Half of the home was a doctor's office and the other half a living space. We purchased the home from their son, who also practiced medicine in the home. I fell in love with the brick façade, large lot, and all the potential. It was a home that could fulfill all of my family's "covid dreams" - room for 2 offices, a workout room, indoor/outdoor entertaining, and a pool.
Scope of Work: Full renovation of the main level, 3400 SF. The only walls that still remain are those to the basement stairway. 450 SF brick addition on the back, which includes an office, fitness room and bathroom. Basement level renovation included opening up the living area and replacing finishes throughout. Exterior work included addition, covered back patio (includes fireplace/ living area/ dining area/ and grill), staining of the exterior brick to black, pool, hot tub, and backyard landscaping.
