In the vibrant heart of Mexico City, in the Del Valle neighborhood, stands an eclectic spectacle of interior design, boldly fusing the vibrant personality of the metropolis with timeless elegance. This apartment, located near the Poliforum Siqueiros, breathes the same dynamic and cosmopolitan spirit that characterizes this charming city, where art, architecture and lifestyle converge in a captivating symphony.
From the moment you cross the threshold, the space reveals its distinctive character. An energetic color palette, from bold red to serene blue, refreshing green and radiant yellow, unfolds on a neutral base, in harmony with the greenery of the outdoor vegetation and the surrounding urban landscape, creating an atmosphere that brims personality and style.

The hall becomes a multifunctional space, fusing an office with a bar station, in response to the changing dynamics of cosmopolitan life. A mid-20th century secretary desk is joined by a clear acrylic and chrome chair, while iconic accessories such as a coat rack and a 19th-century banker's lamp complete the scene. The mid-century style carpentry provides a sophisticated masculinity, complemented by the life that infuses an abstract work by artist Adrian Gómez.

In the kitchen, a horseshoe-shaped layout combines functionality and aesthetics, with blue-gray carpentry and a light beige countertop that integrate perfectly into a mid-century style with subtle but important industrial touches such as the large spotlight and ironwork lamp where simplicity is its genius.

The open space of the dining room and living room, flooded with light filtered by the outside trees, is used to the maximum. Circular geometries in pastel tones and the minimalist warmth of the table frame a large-format work of art, where metallic textures in gold and silver add incomparable elegance.

In the living room, the iconic Chesterfield sofa radiates energy with its red hue, complemented by Persian and solid rugs, creating a vibrant focal point. A neutral daybed and an industrial-style center table, adorned with blue accents that echo the artwork, complete the scene. The adjacent balcony offers an oasis of contemplation, merging the interior with the exterior under the shade of the trees.

The staircase leading to the second floor becomes an industrial statement, accompanied by a brick wall that brings the urban soul of the city into the home. At its base, an intimate corner offers a tranquil escape, illuminated by an antique chandelier that creates a cozy atmosphere.

Upon climbing up, we are greeted by the rooms, each with its own unique character. The white room fuses modernity with restored mid-20th century elements, accented by pops of yellow and abstract art. The bathroom and dressing room, in white monochrome and dark carpentry, radiate freshness and timeless functionality with touches of art and color that infuse personality.

For its part, the main room is an ode to rest and comfort in a monochromatic design. Agave green was chosen as the main color, transmitting elegance and freshness accompanied by yellow textiles and accents. The dark-colored carpentry provides sobriety to highlight the decorative elements meticulously chosen for this space, the bed, the bureaus and the trunk are original pieces from the late 19th century in contrast with the modern accents, abstract art, high-gloss and metallic surfaces creating a sublime balance of eras and styles.

Altogether, this interior design project is a celebration of the cosmopolitan life of CDMX, where art, architecture and style converge to create a truly captivating space, full of personality and timeless charm, it is more than just an interior design project. ; is a reflection of the dynamic energy and cultural richness of Mexico City. Each space is meticulously designed to offer comfort, functionality and a unique aesthetic that celebrates the fusion of modern and classic, urban and natural, creating a truly captivating home.

The Department 101 interior design project "Cosmopolitan Reflection of CDMX: Urban Fusions" is a vibrant tribute to life in Mexico City, boldly fusing urban elements with timeless elegance to create a residential space that reflects dynamic energy and cultural richness. of the metropolis.

The main objective of this work is to create a home that captures the essence of CDMX, incorporating characteristic elements of its urban life, art and architecture, while seeking to offer comfort, functionality and a unique aesthetic. Beyond being a simple interior design project, this space is an expression of the city's cosmopolitan identity and a celebration of its cultural diversity.

From the moment you enter the apartment, you can feel the connection with the city. The energetic color palette, inspired by vibrant urban life, is combined with a neutral base that reflects timeless elegance. This balance between modern and classic is evident in every corner of the home, from the multifunctional hall to the oasis of contemplation on the balcony.

Firstly, by fusing urban elements with everyday life, a deeper appreciation of the city and its cultural heritage is promoted. Furthermore, the use of sustainable materials and the integration of green spaces in the design contribute to the creation of a healthier and more ecological environment.

For example, the horseshoe-shaped layout in the kitchen is not only aesthetically attractive, but also maximizes functionality and use of space, promoting a more efficient and sustainable lifestyle.
