Acacias 93 is a residential project born from a functional, specific and personalized methodology for the users. Designed within a private subdivision and located on an irregular terrain, which opens up until it ends visually with a jacaranda barrier that conditions our main views.
The design premises were developed from the routine, the lifestyle of the clients and the reconsideration of the needs in the future. The program is divided into three levels, the basement for the service program, the ground floor for daily living and use of the home, and finally the upper floor designed to be an extension of the social areas, as well as two private areas.
The entrance ramp allows us to have universal access for users. Upon entering a vestibule receives and directs the visitor. Emphasizing the hierarchy of spaces through the change of materiality, the volume on the right side of the lobby covered in gray granite is used for the private area, the study, and the master bedroom with bathroom and dressing room.
The left wing of the hall is divided into public and private areas. Services are concentrated in the center such as kitchen, pantry, stairs, and bathrooms. And towards the public part, a corridor leads us to the dining room/terrace and TV room, where the connection with the outside is the main virtue.
To access the upper floor, two vertical circulations are generated. The main stairs inside the house lead to a hall that divides us into a second bedroom with a dressing room and bathroom, as well as a flexible study to be converted into a third bedroom. On the other hand, the metallic stairs on the outside create a connection between the living-dining room and the terrace on the top floor with impressive views.
Wood, stone and metal structure make up the plastic language of the house.
