Shell units often have layouts full of mistakes. That was also the case of this space. It had a very small living room combined with a kitchenette and a huge hall. Most importantly, the biggest advantage of the apartment - two almost entirely glazed facades - wasn't used at all.

The apartment is located on the highest floor, in the corner of the building. It has a wonderful view - you can see Poznan's old town, Warta river and the synagogue. Our priority was to plan the apartment in a way, that provides looking at those views from the very first moment you enter it. That's why we decided that two walls of the study or so called "guitar room" have to be made of glass. That's also why the hall runs at an unusual angle, so everyone entering the apartment sees and walks directly into the beautiful landscape. The next issue that was very important during the design process, was to plan the way from room to room along the windows, so you could constantly see the view. Because of this assumption, the part of the apartment that included the kitchen, the guitar room / guest room, is located in the middle, and you can enter them from two sides. The same solution is used in the bathroom - you can enter it from the hall, as well as from the bedroom.

Fortunately, the developer agreed to include our ideas in the plan, and left some of the original construction of the building raw and partly uncovered. The imperfections of the construction add some crude feeling to the apartment.

As even our client noticed, the way you can go through every room, allows you to literally go around the apartment . Due to the floor plan, the entire apartment is also very well illuminated. Every room, except of the bathroom, has access to natural light.

To complete the apartment we chose natural, solid, oak floor and white, geometric fronts. The impressive, well exposed view crowns the space and nearly merges the interior with the city.
