From The Design Yard
Workspaces are an essential factor where an average individual spends about 50% of his total time of the day. The Architects realized that there was a need to break the design trend of commercial spaces however, budgets did not favour the overall vision of the practice. This Office showcases the use of a raw idea and reuse thrown away products in shaping a workplace.
The entire office is planned in three zones including a waiting and reception, a staff work area and a private director cabin. Being in a small footprint of only 300 sq. ft. , this office showcases materials like scrap metal sheets being reused to accentuate the overall aesthetics of the space. Suspended metal ceiling create a drama when the space is perceived in vertical dimension. Exposed services create a visual path way leading and connecting all the spaces. The main cabin showcases a string art designed by the architect with everyday material that creates a highlight element in the space.
