Living in the Landscape .
This house is located in Valle Escondido in the city of Cordoba, Argentina.

The main attributes of the site are; its North orientation and panoramic view overlooking an Ecological Reserve (Reserva San Martin).

The concept design of the house is to open towards the best orientation and best view (North) and to close itself to the street and South, not only for privacy reasons but also to enhance its sustainability and climate control. The house fully merges into the landscape with high ceilings and full-height openings with smooth daylight bathing all spaces.

The layout is divided into two floors. In the Ground Floor, the social area with an integrated Dining, Living Room and Kitchen, an Office-Studio and a Toilet, plus a service area with Laundry, Garage, Pantry and Machine Room.

The site had a void on the back where the swimming pool was located continuing the same pool level with a suspended deck adding 60 sq meters to the outdoor space. The Upper Floor has 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The bedrooms are connected by a corridor with a skylight to ensure natural lighting (as there are no windows on the south façade), and ends in a wooden nook for reading and to contemplate the hills landscape and sunset. On the outside, the bedrooms are connected by balcony with the best panoramic view.

The materials of the house are white painted brick, structural beams in exposed concrete, metallic parts such as columns, opening and railings in black, floors of natural stone such as Travertino and Tundra gray and for the bedrooms oak wood , white countertops in kitchen and bathroom, details in Carrara marble, light wood for furnishing and many empty white walls to give the landscape the main role in the composition.
