A California Cabin Strikes a Stylish Balance Between Cozy and Cool

Our cozy, comfy, alpine modern cabin is the perfect spot to disconnect and unwind under the big trees, smell the fresh mountain air, or hike the Arnold Rim Trail right in our own backyard. If you’re looking to explore more of what Calaveras County has to offer, then you’ve come to the right spot! We are centrally located, and close to Lake Alpine, Bear Valley Ski Resort, Big Trees State Park, The Stanislaus River, local shopping and dining, fabulous tasting rooms, and more!

Shady Pines Cabin was built in 1963 in the highly desirable vacation community of Lakemont Pines. Throughout the remodel, we were thoughtful with every detail to ensure the space retained its cabin charm and "summer camp" vibe.

Sit back, relax, and curl up with a good book in the carefully curated living room next to the wood-burning fireplace. Or grab one of the warm blankets, your favorite beverage, and settle into a chair on the front deck as the evening unfolds. Cook your favorite meal in the kitchen, or gather around the island for a casual happy hour.

Shady Pines Cabin is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom single-family home. Each bedroom boasts a comfortable queen bed with 100% cotton bedding. There is also a bonus meditation room out back if you need a little more alone time.The cabin is equipped with high-speed WIFI, however we encourage our guests to limit screen time and enjoy the natural beauty around them. We like to keep things analog and simple around here, which is why there is no TV. We prefer quality time around the dining room table with a board game or puzzle!
