50 meters of grey

This is completed project of 50 meters apartment in Odessa, Ukraine.

Modern design is about minimalism, which leads a person’s attention from things to his real life in the era of virtuality overload. In this apartment we tried to create a mood of relaxation and carelessness.

The apartment has a lot of sharp corners, which were very difficult to use due to the original shape of the building. This influenced the appearance of various hidden niches and hidden cabinets. For example, a gray square on a sofa serves both as an art object and as a built-in closet behind a wall.

The apartment is open to the sea with all windows, which adds color to the interior at any time of the year.
