1963 Great Lakes Coach / Mobile Home "Re-Imagining"

My Fiancee' and I recently closed on our first home together-- a "fixer-upper" 1963 Great Lakes Coach / Mobile Home in San Juan Capistrano, CA. (South Orange County if you've never heard of it).

We bought this project without realizing all that we were getting into. The home hadn't been fixed up in what appeared to be at least 20 years, but we were ready to take on the task.

Both of us being in our mid-20s, purchased the mobile home in our efforts to become debt-free in a few years. We both have student loans and want to make sound financial decisions as we begin to start our life together-- we are hoping to get married in Sept. 2020 (so long as this Covid-19 crisis has settled down).

Attempting to purchase a home in Orange County already has its challenges, but for two millennials with student-debt pouring out of our eyes, a mobile home was the way to go.
