Nikari, established by cabinetmaker Kari Virtanen in 1967, is a company dedicated to using wood in the clean, classic, Nordic tradition, manufacturing its entire collection in Finland. At this year's Habitare fair in Helsinki, new introductions included the latest work from Jenni Roininen in her JRA lounge series. We believe the JRA3 sofa without armrests might function a bit more like a bench in your living room but it's beautiful, either way, and the rest of the site is chock full of stunning stuff.

This chair was initially released in 1948 with the catchy title No. 70 and later became known as the Womb chair thanks to its inviting embrace. A padded and upholstered fiberglass shell sits on a polished chrome steel frame. Covering options vary.
