Stella & Calatrava: The Michael Kohlhaas Curtain

From April 15th to August 14th "Stella & Calatrava: The Michael Kohlhaas Curtain" will be on view at the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin. The exhibition presents a joint artwork of Frank Stella and Santiago Calatrava, which consists of a panoramic mural painted by Stella and a circular structure designed by Calatrava that the painting is displayed on. Calatrava's delicate and wiry design suspends the painting overhead, making for a contemplative spatial experience.
