Staged Reading of "A False Solution" at The Blank Theatre

April 25, 8:00 PM

On April 25, 2011, The Blank Theatre in Los Angeles presents a staged reading by Oren Safdie of A False Solution at 8:00pm.

The third in a trilogy that is set in the world of contemporary architecture, A False Solution finds Anton Seligman, a well-established German-Jewish architect, after he's won a competition to design a new holocaust museum in Poland. All is proceeding accordingly until he encounters Linda Johansson, a striking young intern and first-year architecture student who challenges his resolve, throwing everything he's come to stand for into question.  The effects of war, religious identity and sexual politics loom large over this intimate encounter that offers insight into the creative process.

A False Solution will be performed Monday, April 25, 2011 at 8:00pm at The Blank’s 2nd Stage Theatre, 6500 Santa Monica Blvd. (at Wilcox) in Hollywood, CA 90038. Suggested Donations start at $8. For reservations: email info@theblank.com.

A False Solution is commissioned by the Canada Council for the Arts.
