Dr. John Grunsfeld, a NASA astronaut and a Chicago native, will discuss and showcase images from his recent 13-day trip to the International Space Station for the final servicing mission for the Hubble Space Telescope. The mission included five grueling space walks to repair and upgrade the telescope, which extended the observatory’s capabilities into the next decade.
