Lecture
MAD Curator on Crafting Modernism
April 10, 7:15 PM–10:00 PM
M.H. de Young Museum, 50 Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive, San Francisco , California
The American Decorative Arts Forum welcomes Jeannine Falino, curator of New York's Museum of Arts and Design (MAD), who will lecture on her museum's traveling exhibition that's focused on craft media (clay, fiber, wood, metal, glass, and alternative materials) created in the US during the postwar era. A mini-exhibit, which begins at 7:15PM, will precede the lecture. Members are encouraged to bring pieces from their own collections that are relevant to the lecture.
