Austrian architect and designer Gregor Eichinger will discuss the subject of our increasing need for "shadowy places." He will reference past eras, when business was conducted in public marketplaces and town squares, to make sense our changing modes of public presence. As Eichinger sees it, architects and designers need to pay closer attention to the shadows, to build nooks in which "e-nomads" find respite from their journeys along the streets of the city.
