Narrarated by James Franco, Eames: The Architect and the Painter is the first film to be created about Charles and Ray Eames since their deaths. The film, which is presented by Jason Cohn and Bill Jersey for First Run Features, draws upon a wealth of archival and ephemeral material from the Eames office complemented by interviews and commentary by their daughter, grandchildren, and other design luminaries.
Never-before-seen footage of the couple at home and in studio add to this remarkable documentary that highlights the legacy of one of the most important design duos in American history.
