Join us for Meet the Architects Night, an evening of presentations from the architects of the homes featured at the 2011 Dwell Home Tours.

Enjoy the evening at the new Gandia Blasco Los Angeles showroom and preview new products that were presented at the Salone del Mobile Milan 2011.

Gandia Blasco outdoor furniture collections are inspired in the philosophy of modern and Mediterranean-inspired designs. The company has collaborated with international prestigious designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Palomba & Ludovica and Jean-Marie Massaud, becoming a regerence in contemporary design.     Meet the Architects Night

    Dwell's Meet the Architects Night, hosted by Porcelanosa and sponsor Lincoln, is the kick-off to Dwell Design Week and the Dwell Los Angeles Home Tours on Friday, June 15th. Meet the architects behind the best modern residential design and hear them talk about their challenges, inspirations, and successes in designing and building the homes featured on the 2012 tour. Enjoy cocktails and light bites, exciting design dialogue, and experience the new Porcelanosa Los Angeles showroom. Tickets are $25.

    Dwell Home Tours 2012: Los Angeles

    Dwell is hosting the 2012 Los Angeles Home Tours presented by Lincoln from June 16th,17th, and 24th. The weekend is complete with interesting architecture and people in Los Angeles, California. To kick-off the home tours, a reception at the new Porcelanosa showroom will be held on the evening of the 15th. Invitation holders will be able to meet the architects behind the planned Los Angeles home tours and listen to talks about their work.

    On Day 1, the 16th, five unique East Side homes are planned for self-tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

    On Day 2, the 17th, includes home tours to several Prefab homes from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

    On Day 3, the 24th, five West Side homes are scheduled for tours from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

    Single-day tickets are $85. As a bonus, all Home Tour tickets include a 2-day pass to the Dwell on Design exhibition and on-stage programming at the Los Angeles Convention Center, which runs from June 22nd to the 24th.

    Mangas Rug

    It was love at first sight for us with Mangas, a collection of rugs by Patricia Urquiola for Gan that redefine the chunky knit. Translated into Spanish, the name means "sleeve," and the oversized strips of 100% virgin wool—knotted and woven into a series of patterns in a variety of colors—does mimic the look (and feel) of the most comfortable of sweaters.
