Dwell Home Tours 2012: Silicon Valley

Dwell magazine is hosting Silicon Valley Home Tours event from September 14-16, 2012. The weekend is complete with interesting architecture and people from the Silicon Valley area in California. To kick-off the home tours, a reception at an exclusive setting will be held on the evening of the 14th. Invitation holders will be able to meet the architects behind the planned Silicon Valley Home Tours and listen to talks about their work. On the 15th and 16th, five unique homes are planned for self-tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On the 11th and 12th, five unique homes are planned for self-tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

    Dwell and New York Magazine: City Modern Home Tours 2012

    CITY MODERN presented by Audi is a joint venture celebrating design, co-created by the Dwell and New York Magazine editorial teams, led by Amanda Dameron and Wendy Goodman respectively. CITY MODERN Home Tours will take attendees behind the doors of ten private modern homes in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The architects of these homes will present their design ideas at the “Meet the Architects” event on Friday, October 5, at the Arhaus Showroom in the Meatpacking District. A limited number of Home Tour and “Meet the Architects” night tickets are now on sale.

    Dwell Home Tours 2012: Los Angeles

    Dwell is hosting the 2012 Los Angeles Home Tours presented by Lincoln from June 16th,17th, and 24th. The weekend is complete with interesting architecture and people in Los Angeles, California. To kick-off the home tours, a reception at the new Porcelanosa showroom will be held on the evening of the 15th. Invitation holders will be able to meet the architects behind the planned Los Angeles home tours and listen to talks about their work.

    On Day 1, the 16th, five unique East Side homes are planned for self-tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

    On Day 2, the 17th, includes home tours to several Prefab homes from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

    On Day 3, the 24th, five West Side homes are scheduled for tours from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

    Single-day tickets are $85. As a bonus, all Home Tour tickets include a 2-day pass to the Dwell on Design exhibition and on-stage programming at the Los Angeles Convention Center, which runs from June 22nd to the 24th.

    Dwell Home Tours 2013: Los Angeles

    Dwell Home Tours allow design seekers to immerse themselves in “Dwell-like” domestic spaces. These unique homes are specially selected by Dwell to reflect the rich diversity of livable, innovative modern architecture and design found throughout Los Angeles. Join Dwell for what promises to be two nights and three days full of interesting architecture and people during the Dwell Home Tours. A portion of the Home Tourticket proceeds will go to our non-profit partner, Architecture for Humanity.

    Home Tours
    June 15: West Side Tour– A tour of (5) progressive dwellings located in LA’s beach neighborhoods. 
    June 22: East Side & Downtown Tour– A range of (5) inland homes, condos and lofts in LA’s up-and-coming neighborhood. 
    June 23: Canyons & Valley Tour– Featuring (5) modern homes in LA’s hippest hillside neighborhoods.

    Meet the Architects Nights 
    Design lovers listen to the architects speak about their challenges, inspirations, and successes in designing and building the homes featured on the tour. Enjoy cocktails and inspiring dialogue!

    Tickets
    Single-day Home Tour tickets are $90-95. As a bonus, all Home Tour tickets include a 2-day pass to the Dwell on Design exhibition and on-stage programming at the Los Angeles Convention Center, which runs from June 21st to the 23rd.
