The Barbican Art Gallery is presenting works from the famous German art school Staatliches Bauhaus that represents its take on the utopian societies they visualized after World War I. The Bauhaus: Art as Life exhibition includes works by artists such as Josef and Anni Albers, Marianne Brandt, Marcel Breuer, Walter Gropius, Johannes Itten, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee, Hannes Meyer, Laszlo Moholy-Nagy, Oskar Schlemmer, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Gunta Stolzl. The program will also offer workshops, lectures, and performances for viewers part of the Bauhaus exhibit.
