In the last four decades, the price of solar panels has dropped 99 percent, an enormous victory for environmentalists. Yet experts agree that in order to effectively forestall climate change, solar innovation will need to be embraced by utilities at the level of the grid. Shaun Chapman of SolarCity will discuss how we can incentivize traditionally risk-averse electric utilities to adopt solar energy more extensively.
