Founded in 1893 by Karl Plank, Plank has been passed down from father to son, in the tradition of the best Italian enterprises. Currently run by Martin Plank, the grandson of the original founder, Plank has transformed from its artisan origins into an industrial enterprise. Maintaining the original principle of discovering the best possibilities in design, Plank focuses on research, sustainability, and collaborating with renowned designers like Konstantin Grcic, Naoto Fukasawa, Björn Dahlström, Biagio Cisotti and Sandra Laube, and more. Plank produces a variety of furniture products and has earned several esteemed design awards, including the Compasso d'Oro ADI Design Award and IF Product Design Award.
