Bohlin Cywinski Jackson is a United States-based architectural practice that was founded in 1965 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania by Peter Bohlin and Richard Powell. The firm is noted for elegant design, ranging from modest houses to large academic, civic, cultural, commercial and corporate buildings. From the beginning, energy efficiency and environmental sensitivity have been integral to the firm’s design culture. Since 1965, Bohlin Cywinski Jackson has received more than 575 regional, national and international design awards, including three AIA Committee on the Environment (COTE) Top Ten Green Projects.
