Slimmed Down Brew

If the typical clunkiness of an espresso maker turns you off and drives you into the arms of Starbucks each morning, meet Jura-Capresso’s new ENA line. Capresso, a 2007 Red Dot Design Award winner, just released this line of super compact espresso makers. At just under 9 ½ inches wide, the machine can fit on nearly any countertop, regardless of how strapped you are for space.
The ENA line may be slim on size, but not on features: It’s a full grinder, coffeemaker, and espresso / cappuccino machine and can brew anywhere from one to 16 ounces of coffee at a time.
The ENA versions also come equipped with energy saving features, like the Smart Zero Energy Button, which completely disconnects the machine from the power source after it finishes making a drink.
The price, however, may also leave your wallet a little slimmer—the machines range from $899 to $1,199.
Available at Sur la Table.
