Architectural Digest Home Design Show: Integrated Fridge
As we’ve previously noted, companies are churning out appliances in bright, eye-catching colors. But at the same time, we’re seeing a rise in appliances that are designed to disappear—either by blending seamlessly into cabinetry or hiding behind panels.

At the Architectural Digest Home Design Show in New York, we saw a new refrigerator from Liebherr that borrows from both: The 24-inch HC-1060 not only comes in fire engine red (among other colors), it is also so thoroughly integrated that it doesn’t protrude from the wall at all. In fact, it would be hard to guess that a refrigerator lurked behind those shiny French doors.
